Cesca Litton revealed she has been diagnosed with breast cancer and that she has started undergoing chemotherapy earlier this month.
The TV personality documented her hospital visits, her friends and loved ones who have been caring for her as well as the moment she shaved her hair, through a video compilation on her Instagram page on Sunday, March 30.
“2024 had one last surprise for me. Breast cancer,” she recalled. “December was a whirlwind of tests and consultations, until the biopsy results confirmed the big C.”
“I don’t think I ever really gave myself time to process, I just shifted into ‘act now, feel later’ mode,” she said. “Mastectomy/reconstruction done in January. Chemo started in March.”
Despite her condition, Litton said she has continued working to keep her life and routine “as normal as possible.”
“I wanted to keep this quiet, but there was no point in hiding it anymore once I started losing my hair,” she said. “[My] pixie cut lasted 2 1/2 weeks until my hair started falling out in clumps. I decided to just shave it off, I have a wig ready for work purposes, and a growing collection of scarves and turbans.”

Litton then expressed her gratitude to the people who have become her support system and have been with her amid her “attempts at downplaying what [she’s] dealing with.”
“My circles have made their presence felt in so many ways and the support has been overwhelming,” she continued. “Thank you for showing me I don’t have to go through this alone.”
“Thank you to the ones who respected me enough to leave this as my story to tell, because my story is far from over. I’ve got things to do, places to see, mountains to climb, and love to give back. God is good. Always,” she added.
Litton concluded her post by reminding her followers the importance of having regular checkups.
“Early detection is key. You really never think it could happen to you until it does,” she said.
