TV host and singer Karylle recently fulfilled her fangirl’s dream after she had the chance to meet and interview the cast of South Korean drama “The Divorce Insurance.”
Karylle expressed her disbelief through her Instagram page as she described meeting the drama’s lead stars Lee Dong-wook, Lee Kwang-soo, Lee Da-hee and Lee Joo-bin “a dream to reality.”
“Don’t pinch me jebalyo (please)! I’m not dreaming! Nag merge na yung dreams and reality!! (The dreams and reality have merged),” she began her caption.
“I was invited to fly to Seoul, South Korea to interview the cast of #TheDivorceInsurance, a K-Drama for my podcast K’s Drama. I’m very sure it happens because I have two photos to show for it,” the actress continued.
The “It’s Showtime” host then thanked her mother, actress-singer Zsa Zsa Padilla, and late dad Modesto Tatlonghari for her name and nickname, referencing the title of her podcast.

Karylle posted the full interview with the Korean stars on her YouTube page where she shared that she tried her best to stay composed during the interview.
“I tried my best to keep it together and be totally professional. But after the interview, I cried. It’s embarrassing to admit it […] Because it was an overwhelming sense of joy as a fan of K-dramas,” she explained.
The singer-actress shared that the first K-drama that she watched 10 years ago starred Dong-wook, her favorite actor, so meeting him in person was a “big gift.”
“I’m ever so grateful that the person who ushered me into this beautiful K-drama world was right before my eyes… What a feeling. I don’t think I’ll be able to erase that from my mind,” she stated.
“The Divorce Insurance” is an ongoing South Korean romantic comedy series that follows a genius actuary (Dong-wook) and his team as they bond while tackling divorce complexities to develop a new divorce insurance policy.
