Barbie Forteza shows off new sleek short hair

Actress Barbie Forteza has ditched her long hair and said hello to her shortest haircut ever.
Forteza surprised her Instagram followers on Friday, April 4, with the sight of her sleek, fresh haircut.
“She’s ready,” she captioned her post that showed before and after photos of her hair.
The “Pulang Araw” actress originally had shoulder-length hair before chopping it into a chin-length cut.

Forteza also reposted on her Instagram Story a video of her getting the haircut, which her stylist described as “perfect for the summer.”
“Barbie Forteza just made the chop, and it’s her shortest cut ever! Say hello to the Box Bob Chop: chic, sharp, and full of volume. It’s giving extra chic and summer glow,” read the caption.
In the comments section, fellow celebrities Kyline Alcantara, Thea Tolentino and Louise delos Reyes, among others, complimented Forteza for her new look.

In February, the Kapuso actress declared that she was in her “self-discovery and self-love era,” more than a month after she and long-term boyfriend Jak Roberto had split up.
At the time, Forteza also teased that she had a new project in the works that would feature a new side of her.
“It’s going to be a different Barbie — a more fashionable, sophisticated Barbie. And I’m very excited because ‘Pulang Araw’ was very successful, and I’m very thankful. But for this year, lalaban tayo. A-outfit tayo,” she said.
