Alden Richards begins pilot training: ‘One flight at a time’

Alden Richards has officially begun his journey to become a pilot as he started his training at an aviation school in Clark, Pampanga.
Richards provided a glimpse of his visit to Alpha Aviation Group in Mabalacat, Pampanga. In one of the photos he shared, he was standing in front of a flight simulator, pointing to the words “ready for training.”
The slideshow of photos also included a snapshot of Richards with another man sitting in the cockpit of a flight simulator, hinting at the start of their aviation training session.
“Reaching new heights, one flight at a time. [airplane emoji],” wrote the actor in his caption.

Last month, Richards revealed that he received a scholarship from an aviation school in Clark, although he did not disclose the name of the school.
At the time, the former “Eat Bulaga” host noted that he would not discuss the scholarship until it was finalized, but that he looked forward to finishing the course this year.
“It has been my dad’s dream. Sabi ko, ‘Sige dad since medyo 59, 58 ka na ako na lang. Hopefully kung kaya this year matapos ko ‘yung course, then lipad lipad na tayo.’”
Richards is set to join fellow actor Xian Lim who recently ventured into aviation. Lim recently earned his license as a private pilot.
Aside from aviation, Richards has developed a passion for running marathons and biking.
