Andi Eigenmann made a splash with her water skills after she bagged the 6th place in the Queen of the Point surfing competition held in Siargao over the weekend.
On her Instagram page on Tuesday, May 6, Eigenmann shared photos of herself riding the waves in the all-women longboarding event, as well as some moments from the after-party.
“Stoooked! Made my first ever finals at Queen of the Point — Cloud 9! Placed 6th! Yiiw! Grateful beyond words to share the lineup with such powerful, inspiring women both from Siargao and from other parts of the world,” she captioned the post.
The actress-turned-vlogger expressed her gratitude for being part of a competition that “celebrates sisterhood, strength, and the beauty of women’s surfing.”

Eigenmann then thanked her partner, professional surfer Philmar Alipayo, and their daughter, Lilo, for their support.
“Another special thanks to [@chepoxz] for lending his surfer hat to me and Lilo for this weekend, and supporting us throughout! — as the designated driver, surf coach, photo and videographer, stuff carrier, feeder, water guy, cheerleader,” she concluded the post.
Last year, Eigenmann and Alipayo’s five-year-old daughter Lilo earned recognition for being the youngest among the contestants in a Siargao-based surfing competition.
Meanwhile, in two separate posts on her Instagram story, Eigenmann reminded newcomers about honoring the local surf culture and the importance of “respecting locals” especially in the water.
“In every surf spot around the world, respecting the locals is not just etiquette, it’s common sense. Knowing when it’s your turn, sharing the waves, and honoring those who’ve grown up with this break matters. You don’t get to hog sets all day, and most especially, you don’t get to curse and roll your eyes at a local legend who’s waited over an hour for a wave- and even have the nerve to insist the wave is yours when you just got back and didn’t even bother lining up. You insisted on getting some respect… respect is earned. Especially in the water. You don’t just demand respect from locals when you don’t even respect them at all,” she wrote.
