Just a month after presenting the official candidates in the Binibining Pilipinas 2025 pageant, the organizers updated the roster of contestants with a new contender.
Stella Zacarias from Quezon City has assumed the spot as “Binibini 13,” replacing Shereenia Mae Valerio from San Mateo, Rizal, who was removed due to “contract-related issues.”
The Binibining Pilipinas Charities Inc. issued a media release updating the lineup of 2025 aspirants, but did not elaborate further the issues that resulted in Valerio’s removal.
Zacarias was among the applicants who was called back to the final screening of aspirants, where the official candidates where chosen. She was a runner-up in the 2025 Miss Universe Philippines-Quezon City pageant held in March.

On April 23, they spent time with children from the St. Martin de Porres Center at the Charity Day held at the Fiesta Carnival at the Araneta City.
This is the 61st edition of the longest-running national pageant in the Philippines, whose storied legacy includes the most iconic and beloved international titleholders in the country.
The four Miss Universe winners from the Philippines are all Binibining Pilipinas queens — Gloria Diaz, Margie Moran, Pia Wurtzbach, and Catriona Gray.
Five Binibining Pilipinas winners have brought home the Miss International crown–Aurora Pijuan, Melanie Marquez, Precious Lara Quigaman, Bea Rose Santiago, and Kylie Verzosa.
No details about the grand coronation night have been released yet. Bb. Pilipinas International Myrna Esquerra and Bb. Pilipinas Globe Jasmin Bungay will relinquish their titles to their successors at the end of the competition.
