David Licauco mourns death of grandfather Jaime

Actor David Licauco is mourning the death of his grandfather Jaime Licauco, a well-known parapsychologist and author.
David took to Facebook on Saturday, May 17, to express his grief while honoring the memory of his late grandfather.
“The wisest man I knew—always chasing greatness, always sharing his wisdom. Thank you for the life talks, the lessons, the power of your mind. I’ll hold them close, always. Rest easy, Lolo,” he wrote alongside their pictures.

According to his profile, Jaime is regarded as the country’s foremost authority on inner mind development, creative and intuitive management, paranormal phenomena, and Philippine mysticism.
Over the last 25 years, the late scholar and educator wrote 17 bestselling books and numerous articles on these subjects. He was also a columnist for the Daily Tribute before his death.
Meanwhile, David rose to fame for his historical fantasy dramas “Maria Clara at Ibarra” and “Pulang Araw.” He is currently the on-screen partner of actress Barbie Forteza. David recently portrayed Deacon Sam in “Samahan ng mga Makasalanan.”
His character forms a church group with a mission to convert sinners into believers, encouraging them to change their lives for the better. /ra
