Over a month after he returned to the Philippines from Canada, Jimmy Santos mingled with fans in San Antonio, Nueva Ecija as he tried his hand at being a street food vendor for a day.
The comedian and former “Eat Bulaga” TV host vlogged his experience manning a street food stand at what appears to be a market, through a vlog shared on his YouTube channel last Thursday, May 29.
Santos also tried cooking the snacks himself while simultaneously attending to the customers.
“This job is hard for vendors because they work under the heat of the sun and even under the pouring rain. They need to be patient to earn money,” he said.
“This type of work requires patience. You have to be strong and healthy to be able to do this,” he added.
To conclude his vlog, Santos introduced the owner of the street food stand where he worked and saluted vendors for their hard work.
Santos returned to the country last April, clarifying that he did not move to Canada and that he only flew there to visit his grandchild. He is now living by himself in Pampanga.
It can be recalled that Santos made headlines in 2023 after he showed himself recycling cans and plastic bottles in Canada. /edv
