Babymonster amassed 200 million views on YouTube with the performance video for “Sheesh,” label YG Entertainment said Monday.

It is the group’s first dance video to reach the milestone and the fifth overall after the music videos for “Sheesh,” “Batter Up,” “Forever” and “Drip.”

BabyMonster — composed of Ruka, Pharita, Asa, Ahyeon, Rami, Rora, and Chiquita — released its first extended play (EP) “BabyMons7er” as a seven-member group in April 2024.

The rookie girl group was initially launched as a six-member group in November 2023, since Ahyeon took a short break due to health issues. She eventually returned in January 2024.

Along with the record, a music video of the title track “Sheesh” was also released featuring the members in dramatic gowns. The members were also seen in punk-inspired ensembles in dark colors.

The seven-member act is poised to bring out the single “Hot Sauce” next week, which will be part of its next mini album due out in October.

Over the weekend, Babymonster will perform concerts in Taipei, the final stop on the Asian leg of the “Hello Monsters” tour, which will resume in Canada on Aug. 30.
