Kim Kardashian eyed to play villain in upcoming live-action ‘Bratz’ movie

A live-action “Bratz” movie is currently in development, with socialite Kim Kardashian being considered to play the antihero.
Deadline reported that Amazon MGM Studios has secured a deal with Kardashian and Picturestart to produce a live-action film about the Bratz doll line.
The outlet noted that Kardashian is also the top contender to play the villain, with Charlie Polinger and Lucy McKendrick tapped to write the script.
As of this writing, the plot details are kept under wraps, as are the other potential castings.
Amazon MGM Studios has been on the lookout for iconic toys to bring onscreen, following the success of the 2023 “Barbie” movie starring Margot Robbie.

The Bratz toy line has sold more than 200 million dolls globally to date. It also has the highest social media engagement across all platforms of any toy brand in the world.
In 2007, a live-action teen comedy film based on the dolls, “Bratz: The Movie,” starring Nathalia Ramos, Skyler Shaye, Logan Browning and Janel Parrish, was released in theaters.
To date, there have been 14 animated “Bratz” films released. An animated “Bratz” TV series also ran for two seasons from 2005 to 2008.
Meanwhile, Kardashian is currently starring in the Netflix comedy “The Fifth Wheel” and is set to star in Ryan Murphy’s drama series “All Is Fair.”
The businesswoman also appeared in season 12 of “American Horror Story” and is producing the upcoming Hulu series “Group Chat.” /ra
