It was a tale of two Quezons as TJ Trinidad surprised Jericho Rosales on the set of the historical film “Quezon,” which is based on the life of former president Manuel L. Quezon.
Trinidad paid a visit to the set of the upcoming biopic where he exchanged handshakes and an embrace with Jericho Rosales, as seen in photos shared by TBA Studios. The actors also posed for photos with the film’s director Jerrold Tarog, the production company’s president and COO Daphne Chiu, and actor Romnick Sarmenta.
Rosales is shooting scenes for the upcoming Quezon biopic, with Benjamin Alves as his younger version. On the other hand, Trinidad previously starred as the late president in the films “Heneral Luna” and “Goyo: Ang Batang Heneral.”

Despite being noted for his portrayal of Quezon, Trinidad stepped back from the role due to “personal commitments.” The actor-turned-businessman was active in the entertainment industry in the 2000s, where he is best known for his lead roles in “Gulong ng Palad” and “Bliss.”
Trinidad made his final appearances in the film “My Letters to Happy” and the drama “The Gift” in 2019.
According to TBA Studios, production for “Quezon” is still ongoing with plans for it to be released locally and internationally “later this year.”
