Ricky Davao’s urn finally home with family

The ashes of Ricky Davao were finally brought home to his family, a week after he died of complications related to cancer.

The screen veteran’s children as well as his current and previous partners spent the last day of his wake with close friends, as seen in the photos shared on their respective Instagram pages.

Ricky’s children Kenneth, Rikki Mae, Ara and Justine were all smiles while holding the late actor’s urn. Ricky’s current partner, Mayeth Malca; his former wife actress Jackie  Blanco, the mother of his children Kenneth, Rikki Mae and Ara; and his former girlfriend Cheryl Singzon, the mother of his youngest child Justine, also stood beside the children.

Also present during the last night of the wake were Blanco’s nieces Janine Gutierrez, Maxine Gutierrez and Jessica  Gutierrez, nephew Diego Gutierrez, and their mom Lotlot de Leon.

Janine’s actor boyfriend Jericho Rosales also paid respect to Ricky.

Friendships were also highlighted during Ricky’s wake as Blanco greeted Malca and Singzon during the actress’ eulogy. Blanco and Malca were even seen sharing a hug in front of the guests.

“I’d like to say that the reason why we are all okay is because of the kind of man and person that Ricky was,” Blanco said.

Ricky’s death was confirmed to the public by his family last May. 2. He was 63.  /ra
