What’s next for Kathryn Bernardo? After teasing the public with her sexy photos — her birthday pictorial posted in her own IG account — nothing much is heard about her and her upcoming projects.

Showbiz enthusiasts and avid fans presumed that she’s going solo and is prepping for sexy roles in her next movie projects. The actress whose last movie releases, ‘A Very Good Girl’ and ‘Hello, Love, Again’ which both made a killing in the box office, seems to be gearing to do not just romantic and matured social drama, but also very sensual ones.

Some supporters are wary that she may lose a sizeable chunk of fans who are minors. Their parents might even stop them from looking at Bernardo’s almost naked photos — as evidenced in the Bench fashion event and her sexy pictorial. Well, she’s of the right age anyway and she should be able to decide for herself.

FEATURED STORIES

We just hope that her handlers and mother network would find the right formula for her sans the unnecessary showing of skin and sexy outfits. Offscreen dramas, like her supposed involvement in a near-fisticuffs between her ex-boyfriend Daniel Padilla and Kyle Echarri at the recent ABS-CBN Ball, aren’t good news either. Nor is being portrayed as a ‘lasengga’ doing her any favors.

Showcasing the other side of Kathryn as a judge at ”Pilipinas Got Talent” Season 7 is nice. Ditto with her making friends with fellow actors or having a good time with Nadine Lustre, Dolly de Leon, Ruffa Gutierrez, Vina Morales and even Karla Estrada herself during the ball.

At 29, Kathryn should be on the road in the making of a versatile actress more than anything else. Of course, she’s of age to decide on her love life, too — whether staying single for now or having another partner after you know who.

Accommodating Actress

Former child stars and now accomplished actresses in their own right remain to be friends all these years. Both award-winning, Actress A is acknowledged to be the sweet one especially with many crying screen time in their previous TV dramas together when they were younger. Actress B, on the other hand, was pictured to be the mean and mataray one — owing to the roles she play so well.

Later, those who know them well, including avid fans, would attest to the real personalities of the actresses. Actress A is the one who is actually aloof, if not mataray, and Actress B is friendlier and more accommodating.
To this day, Actress B has more acting projects both on TV and the wide screen — even among their equally famous contemporaries. Could this be because Actress B is easier to deal with than Actress A? And that she’s more bankable than the rest of the actresses of her age level?

However, several showbiz reporters got turned off lately with Actress B when they overheard her saying that she would be inviting (to her media event) only those she easily recognize and call them on first-name basis.

In this day and age of the social media, showbiz scribes said Actress B could easily be the target of a ‘demolition job’ with her unpleasant pronouncement. If she wants to keep up that sweet and accommodating image, they say, she should keep her preferences to herself and her handlers without the need to broadcast it. Moreover, they said, many of the scribes whom she’d known in the past must have either died or retired already and she must get in touch with the existing ones, too.
