Nadia Montenegro says ‘things working out’ between Baron Geisler, their daughter

Nadia Montenegro and Baron Geisler appear to have mended their differences, as the former disclosed that they already talked and that “things are working out” between the actor and their daughter Sophia.

Nadia opened up about this in an interview for a vlog that she and her sister Tania had with broadcaster Karen Davila on Thursday, May 22.

Geisler was brought up in the conversation as the sisters were being asked about their past relationships.

“I never regretted being with Baron, but I regretted the situation he was in at the time,” Nadia said. “How I wish that he was sober. Maybe we could have handled things differently.”

“But we’ve both talked about this and actually, the last few months have been very good for us,” she revealed. “Sophia is with him and has been with him since February.”

Nadia further said that the father and daughter have been preparing for Sophia entering college.

“Things are working out naman,” the celebrity mom noted.

Tania, for her part, said she was against her sister’s relationship with Geisler.

“She knows how much I hated Baron,” Tania told Davila.

“I was very angry not at her, but at Baron and the situation they had at the time,” Tania continued. “I stayed mad at Baron for a long, long time because Nadia cried a lot and because many things had happened.”

Despite this, Tania said she gave Baron a chance to redeem himself after he reached out to her. “I just told him to please be good and to fix himself.”

Nadia revealed in June last year that her late husband, Macario “Boy” Asistio Jr., is not the biological father of Sophia. The actress later named Geisler as the child’s dad, although she criticized the latter for his prior child revelation that was supposedly done “for views.”  /ra
