Alodia Gosiengfiao was among the flight passengers who have faced flight disruption after Iran fired missiles at a United States base in Qatar.
The content creator said through her Instagram Stories on Tuesday, June 24, that her Qatar Airways flight QR933 bound for Doha, Qatar had to make an emergency landing in India.
“Emergency landing in India. Praying for the safety of everyone in Doha,” she wrote, showing her in-flight moving map.
Gosiengfiao was apparently supposed to head to Doha then Frankfurt in Germany as she added in her post “MNL>DOHA>FRA”.

In a succeeding post, Gosiengfiao said she landed safely in Doha but that “rebooking will take a while because a lot of flights also got cancelled.”
“Hope all will be well,” she said.
Earlier, actors Coco Martin and Julia Montes postponed their Kenya fan meet due to “airspace safety” concerns amid the ongoing conflict in the Middle East.
The US, which joined Israel’s military campaign against Iran, earlier carried out airstrikes on Iran’s key nuclear facilities. In response to this, Iran announced that it had launched missiles at a US base in Qatar.
Qatar said its “air defenses successfully intercepted a missile attack targeting Al Udeid Air Base.” However, Qatari foreign ministry spokesman Majed Al-Ansari said his country “reserves the right to respond directly in a manner proportional to the nature and scale of this blatant aggression.”
US President Donald Trump then announced that Iran and Israel had agreed to a staggered ceasefire, although this was refuted by Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi.
Araghchi said “there is NO ‘agreement’ on any ceasefire or cessation of military operations” as of now, although he noted that it would stop firing if Israel “stops its illegal aggression against the Iranian people.” /edv
