Reigning Miss World Philippines Krishnah Gravidez brushed up on the culture of the host country of this year’s Miss World pageant, ahead of the competition in India.
The Baguio lass paid a courtesy call on His Excellency Harsh Kumar Jain, the Indian Ambassador to Manila, joined by his spouse, Smt. Vandana Jain.
The Miss World Philippines Organization shared about the visit on social media on Monday evening, April 21, showing photos of Gravidez and the Indian couple.
“The visit was filled with enriching conversations about the vibrant history and rich culture of India,” the national pageant organization posted.
“A highlight of the meeting was the beautiful connection drawn between Krishnah’s name and the revered Hindu god, Krishna—a moment of shared admiration and cultural appreciation,” the post added.
Miss World Philippines Organization Creative Director Francis Rey Chee and General Manager Aldrich Maru Dabao accompanied Gravidez in her visit.
Gravidez is set to leave for the southern Indian state of Telangana next month for the 72nd Miss World Festival.
She is hoping to post the Philippines’ second Miss World victory, 12 years since Megan Young became the first Filipino woman to bring home the “blue crown.”
The 2025 Miss World final competition will be held at the Hyderabad International Convention and Exhibition Center (HITEX) in Hyderabad on May 31.
