Kathryn Bernardo, Nadine Lustre team up for ‘queenly’ project

Kathryn Bernardo and Nadine Lustre are bringing double star power to a new project they are set to headline together.
Star Magic teased the collaboration between the two stars on Wednesday, May 7, as they shared footage from the production set.
The 10-second clip showed a woman placing Bernardo and Lustre’s nameplate outside a production tent before it panned to a frame of a black clapperboard with the words “Project Queens.”
“#ProjectQueens is ready to slay,” wrote the talent management.
As of this writing, more details about the project are being kept under wraps.
Bernardo and Lustre recently shared the spotlight for a magazine’s May cover shoot, where they expressed their admiration for one another.
“I really admire how [Kath] stepped into her own power. She’s always been graceful and grounded, but there’s this quiet strength she carries now—like she’s fully owning her space. She’s inspiring a lot of women to do the same,” Lustre said.
Bernardo echoed the sentiments of her fellow actress, expressing, “[Nadine] is just very inspiring. I think there’s something powerful about a woman when she’s unapologetically being herself. I think she’s very authentic.”
The two women have focused on their solo careers after confirming their breakups from their respective real-life and former onscreen partners.
Bernardo is fresh from the success of the romantic drama “Hello, Love, Again” opposite Alden Richards, while Lustre previously delighted in the success of her Metro Manila Film Festival (MMFF) 2024 entry “Uninvited.”
